The International Ecoislas Forum, held on 3 February 2023 in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, aimed to create a space for discussion on a green, self-sufficient and environmentally sustainable socio-economic model with an island approach. The four axes of discussion were: Circular and blue economy; Energy, water and mobility; Adaptation to climate change; and Regenerative tourism.
During the event, good practices and projects that are already being developed at local, national and international level were presented. In this framework, Carmen González, Director General of the Centre for Scientific and Technological Research of Extremadura (CICYTEX), presented the characteristics and operation of the High Technology Incubator of Bioeconomy and Circular Economy.
