Green Innovation Forum Extremadura, a leading event in Spain that promotes biotechnology as a key tool to move towards a new, greener and more sustainable economic model, was organised by FUNDECYT-PCTEx through the Office for Innovation, on 17 November 2022 at the Palacio de Congresos de Mérida.
With the collaboration of the Spanish Association of Biocompanies (AseBio), it has created a space for the exchange of knowledge and best practices between companies, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors and specialists at national and international level in the field of bioeconomy and biotechnology.
The High Technology Bioeconomy and Circula Economy Incubator participated in this event by supporting the presence of different business projects currently incubated, and by organising a session aimed at sharing the keys to developing new products or processes with high added value and of interest to the food, pharmacological, cosmetic or chemical industries, based on Extremadura’s natural resources or the recovery of agri-food waste. During the session, practical cases and specific projects that could be incubated were analysed.
